Speak up, Listen up, Act up
Now is the time to:
SPEAK UP.
Listen up.
Act up.
If we do not understand our rights, if we do not use our rights, if we do not stand up for our rights– we risk losing our rights.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. — The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution
Call, email or visit your local, state, national and international leaders and let them know where you stand on important issues. Talk and write about what you believe in, care about, stand for. And, vote. If you are not registered, register here.
Find your national representatives here, or try here. Search online for information on local and state representatives, visit your local library and ask them to help, or go on down to city hall and ask them.
Speak up. Listen up. Act up.
Do not allow anyone to trample your rights.
