Word Trade news– are you ready?
As predicted in past posts, The Word Trade is beginning to evolve at a rapid pace. So, I’m pleased to announce our new Web site will officially launch this fall, though the site is up now if you’d like to take a peek. You can bookmark us or sign up for our RSS feed.
There is much, much more news to come, of course. But, for now, I want to let you know we’re well on our way to freelance writing success and we’re excited about sharing the journey with you.
And, check this out: even though we haven’t officially launched yet, we’re already lining up work. Just today I created a post card for a Charlotte homeowner’s association’s upcoming mass mailing, received a book for review and signed our first e-book contract. By the end of the week we’ll have submitted several articles to the local media.
It’s no wonder when people say, “Oh, good, when you graduate you’ll hit the ground running,” I respond, “I’m already running!”
We obviously have a lot of work to do, but we’ll get there. Be sure to follow us on Twitter and friend us on Facebook so you can keep up with our progress. I think we’re off to a great start, don’t you?
