It’s official: I’m a skirt!setter!
Woo hoo! I just got word: I’m cool enough to be a skirt!setter on skirt! magazine’s Web site.
As a longtime reader and admirer, I am tickled I was chosen.
Here is the skirt!setter mantra, if you’re interested:
“The skirt!® mantra: Skirt!® is all about women…their work, play, families, creativity, style, health and wealth, bodies and souls. Skirt! is an attitude… spirited, independent, outspoken, serious, playful and irreverent, sometimes controversial, always passionate. Your posts should reflect you through this mantra.”
I must admit, this feels serendipitous.
For the past few days I have been thinking about creating a second blog because I’d like to, and need to, blog about more than just school and the media. Though I know I can squeeze in whatever mix I want here, I would like to keep my weight/ health and relationship issues separate from my educational and career pursuits– and political opinions!, at least for now.
I don’t think there is any magic to becoming a skirt!setter, but I just discovered the opportunity. And, as soon as I did, I stuck my nose out there… and it didn’t get lopped off. Yeah for me!
